Do you or a loved one need help or require companionship for the following:
Eating, grooming, dressing, bathing, toileting and continence care, mobility, medication reminders, companionship and conversation, respite care, monitor diet and eating, walking or driving assistance, mail bills and letters, rent and play movies, attend church or religous services, light housekeeping, take out garbage, dusting, make and change beds, pet care, grocery shopping, alzheimer’s care, pre- and post-surgery assistance, and keeping doctor’s appointments.
If so, Home Instead Senior Care can help! Here’s a glimpse into our story…
Home Instead Senior Care is the world’s trusted source of in-home non-medical care and companionship for the elderly. With over 750 franchises throughout the world, Home Instead is setting the standard in the ways we care for our ever gorwing population.
Started in Omaha, Nebraska in 1994, Paul and Lori Hogan were caregivers who realized that there was a real need for in-home care. They founded Home Instead Senior Care that year and the company has been setting records, and compassionately caring for seniors, ever since.
The average age of our CAREgivers is 37 – very high for our industry! Each CAREgiver is bonded, insured, trained, and dedicated to being a CAREgiver, understanding that the work they do is not just another job, but a vocation with a higher calling. Our CAREgivers love their jobs because they love to care for the elderly!
Shannon Wygant owns the franchises in Waterford and Walled Lake, Michigan. He and his wife, Catherine, purchased their first franchise in 2001, and have seen their business grow from humble beginnings to a trusted source for senior companionship and care.
These two franchises are repesented by three dedicated and talented community representatives. Lisa Forner, Nancy Wasilk, and Sue Morse are the voice and face of Home Instead to the countless number of social workers, discharge planners, doctors, nurses, and senior advocates in Oakland County.
